Getting to the Hotel:

From Boston Logan International Airport (2 mi. away)

            Take a cab (8 minutes), ride share, the subway known as the MBTA or T[1] (Silverline to World Trade Center stop– free from airport – running every 10 minutes or so and takes 10 minutes), or water taxi to the Seaport with a short walk to the hotel.

NOTE:  There are two tunnels between the airport and the city for car travel.  One of the tunnels into the city will be closed during the conference.  This may create additional traffic when leaving the airport and traveling to the hotel (not the reverse).  To avoid any traffic, please consider taking the T or a water taxi.

From South Station (Amtrak and Greyhound)

            Take cab, ride share, MBTA (to World Trade Center), or walk (15-20 minutes).

Driving from North of Boston

            Take 93S to Exit 16B towards Purchase St.  Turn left onto Oliver St./Seaport Blvd. Turn right onto D St. Turn right onto Summer St.

Driving from South of Boston

Take 93N towards Boston.  Take Exit 16 towards Logan/Worcester/S. Station.  Take a slight left onto the ramp to South Boston.  Take a slight right to merge onto Congress St.  Use the right lane to turn right on to D St.  Turn right onto Summer St.

Driving from West of Boston

Take I90 East to Exit 135 towards South Boston.  At the top of the ramp, turn right onto Congress Street.  Turn right onto D Street.  After the highway ramp, turn right onto Summer St.

Bike Share

            To get information on the bicycle share program in Boston, go to www.bluebikes.com.  There are two stations close to the hotel at Lawn on D and the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

[1] The T is made up of lines indicated by color and the directions you see on a train or in the station frequently reference the endpoints of the line.

Getting Around Boston

There are many ways to get around Boston including ride sharing services, public transportation, biking, and walking. Did you know that Boston and Washington D.C. tie for the highest number of commuters who bike or walk to work.

RIDE SHARING
Various ride sharing services such as UBER and LYFT are available in the city.

PUBLIC TRANSIT
The MBTA operates from 5:00am until 12:00am. Services include Subways, Buses, Ferry, and Commuter Rails. Visit their website to view trip planners, maps, and schedules.

Transportation To Fenway

MBTA -THE “T”

Silver Line 1 from World Trade Center stop, get off at South Station, transfer to the Red Line toward Alewife, get off at Park St., take the B, C, or D train to Kenmore.  When exiting the station, follow the signs to Fenway Park, turn left on Commonwealth Ave, left on Brookline Ave, and Fenway Park is just over the bridge.

COMMUTER RAIL

Silver Line 1 from World Trade Center stop, get off at South Station, the Framingham/Worcester Line stops directly across the street from Fenway Park at Lansdowne Station. (Check the handout for train schedule or go to www.MBTA.com and  look for schedule for Framingham/Worcester Line)

Fenway is 3.7 miles from the hotel.
